The Town of Coats Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of facilities available for rent by individuals, teams, organizations, and community groups. Whether you’re planning a birthday party, hosting a league, organizing a tournament, or coordinating a special event, our spaces are designed to support safe, enjoyable, and well-managed use.

Facility reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be requested in advance. All reservations are subject to availability, approval, and applicable policies. To reserve a facility you must come in person to Coats Town Hall and fill out a reservation form, payment is expected when form is turned in. You cannot reserve a facility less than one week before the event, and no further than one year out from the event.
Some uses may require additional documentation, insurance, or coordination with Town staff. Details will be communicated during the reservation process.
Picnic Shelter (3-hour increments): $50
Shelters are ideal for birthday parties, family gatherings, and small group events. Rental includes exclusive use of the shelter during your reserved time.
Ball Fields (Hourly – No Lights): $20 per hour
Ball Fields (Hourly – With Lights): $40 per hour
Ball Fields & Concessions (Per Day): $200 per day
Important Note on Concessions:
Groups renting ball fields with concession access are responsible for operating and stocking concessions independently. Parks & Recreation staff do not provide concession staffing, supplies, or sales management.
These fees apply to Town-sponsored or approved recreation programs and leagues.
Resident Fee: $25 per participant
Out-of-Town Fee: $45 per participant
Adult League Softball (Per Team): $550
Team fees cover scheduled league play and use of Town facilities as outlined by Parks & Recreation staff.
McKinley Pointe offers flexible rental opportunities for vendors, events, and community uses.
Farm Vendor (Per Year): $100
Private Event (Per Day): $100
Non-Profit Event (Per Day): $50
Non-Profit Signage Only (Per Week): $25
All McKinley Pointe uses must align with Town policies and may require advance approval.
Certain uses of Town facilities require a Park Use Agreement in addition to standard reservation approval.
A Park Use Agreement is typically required when:
A group is using more than one facility at the same time
The event or program includes special requirements (tournaments, large events, amplified sound, extended hours, etc.)
The use involves ongoing or repeated reservations beyond standard single-facility use
The Park Use Agreement outlines responsibilities, expectations, and any additional contractual requirements between the user and the Town of Coats.
