Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation

Harnett Regional Water Issues Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation Alert

Harnett Regional Water has implemented Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation Measures, effective immediately, following guidance from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regarding reduced discharges from Jordan Lake.

While this is a voluntary conservation stage, residents are encouraged to do their part to help preserve our shared water resources. Recommended measures include following the odd/even outdoor watering schedule, reducing lawn irrigation, limiting vehicle washing, postponing filling pools and ornamental fountains, and minimizing other non-essential water use.

Please review the attached Stage 1 Water Conservation Notice for the complete list of conservation measures and the outdoor watering schedule based on your address. Harnett Regional Water will continue monitoring conditions and will provide updates if additional conservation measures become necessary.

Thank you for helping protect our community's water resources.Screenshot 2026-07-06 134726
