Registration Information

Registration Opens: January 17, 2026
Registration Closes: February 17, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Late Registration: Goes until February 20, 2026
Age Cut-off Date: For Girls (January 1) For Boys (May 1)

Registration Fees:

  • $25 – Coats Residents

  • $45 – Non-Residents

Important Note on Special Requests:
Any special requests must be submitted at the time of registration using the online registration form. This applies to all requests (coach, practice days, teammates, etc.). Requests cannot be guaranteed but sharing before registration closes will help your chances. 

Divisions Offered

  • Tee-Ball: Ages 3–6

  • Coach Pitch 8U: Ages 7–8

  • 10U Softball: Ages 9–10

  • 10U Baseball: Ages 9–10

  • 12U Softball: Ages 11–12

  • 12U Baseball: Ages 11–12

  • 15U Softball: Ages 13–15

  • 15U Baseball: Ages 13–15

Divisions are based on a player’s age as of January 1 for girls and May 1 for boys. 

Game & Practice Location

All games and practices will take place at:

Coats Municipal Park
454 Park Ln.
Coats, NC 27521

Field Locations:

  • Field One (F1): Located near the basketball court

  • Field Two (F2): Located closer to the maintenance sheds

  • Tee-Ball: Hosted in a separate area below the playground, between Fields 1 and 2

Fields will be labeled accordingly on schedules. Practices begin beginning of March until June. 

Equipment Information

Parents are responsible for providing:

  • Cleats

  • Grey pants

  • Any additional personal equipment their child may need (gloves, batting helmet, etc.)

Parks & Recreation will provide:

  • One team shirt (uniform) per player

  • One hat per player (depending on age group)

  • One set of catcher’s equipment per team

  • Communal team helmets

Volunteer Coaching Opportunities

Our programs rely on dedicated volunteers to be successful. If you are interested in coaching or assisting with a team, we would love to hear from you.

All coaches are required to:

  • Complete a coaching application

  • Submit to a background check
